I knew from the moment our worlds first collided,
That you were destined to leave me, love divided.
Each touch, though soft, held hidden, sharpened steel,
The fleeting joy a wound I’d someday feel.
I knew your end was written, cruel and clear,
But still, I’d love you more, year after year.

I knew the storm would break, the sky would fall,
But loving you was worth the cost of all.
Though love betrayed me, set my soul alight,
I’d live that fire again, burn through the night.
For love, though broken by time’s ruthless hand,
Still echoes through the void where we once planned.

What is this love but flames that sear the bone?
A blaze that leaves you ruined, yet not alone.
A scar that time can never hope to mend,
A silence that no empty words can end.
Though you are gone, your presence floods my mind,
A song that pulls me, leaves my heart confined.

The lessons grief has carved, they will not fade,
Each tear a dagger, each memory a blade.
Love cannot die, it’s fused to every scar,
Though buried deep, it rages where we are.
Forever’s but a lie we’ve dared to tell,
Yet love once born becomes a living hell.

In the end, when every hope must break,
What’s left of all the love we dared to make?
For love is never gone, it’s grief’s cruel chain,
It breathes within the hollow of my pain.
Though time may steal your breath, your face,
It’s The Echoes Of Love, I can’t erase.
